Bluff Top Bike Ride by Sean Walther

On Saturday, September 5th, scouts Vaughn F., Nathan W., Cooper B., Jasper U., Nicholas E., Sean W. and Kaydin went on a 25 mile bike trip with assistance of ASM Brown, SM Johnson, Mr. Inglehart, ASM Pinner and ASM Shaw.

We started off at St. Mark’s church parking lot and headed out to Bacara beach. We biked through Hope Ranch, More Mesa and UCSB. It was a great day for biking. Along the way we stopped at a small BMX course and we biked around the half circle. It was fun.

On the way there, Nathan got a flat tire so we had to take the tube out, clean it, glue it and patch it. When we got to Bacara beach we had a lunch break.

Mrs. Pinner met us there and brought us a water melon! That was definitely the best part of the trip!

We arrived back at St Mark’s church at around 12:45.
