DESCRIPTION:To all Scouts:This morning event will help us prepare for Camporee by practicing Orienteering skills.  Volunteers from our Parent Committee will provide refreshments\, snacks\, and a lunch at the end of the session!Our meeting place is at the corner of Covington Way and La Patera Lane.We will have a one-mile orienteering course and experienced Scouts and ASMs ready to help you learn map\, compass\, and orienteering skills.Bring: Class B shirt\, hat\, sunglasses\, long pants (and gaiters\, if possible) and boots for tromping through tall vegetation\, water bottle\, sunscreen\, compass. SUMMARY:Evan Hildner Eagle Project - Sign Installation
DESCRIPTION:Saturday:We will be digging holes to install 22 plant ID signs at the San Marcos Foothills Preserve. The signs are mounted on 4×4 posts\, so we will need breaking bars\, post hole diggers\, and other similar equipment to dig holes wide and deep enough for the signs. If you have any of this type of equipment\, bringing it would be a big help.
