SUMMARY:Service Hours - Lemon Festival
DESCRIPTION:Hello Troop Leaders\,The Grace Fisher Foundation is seeking responsible Scouts (age 16 and older) and adult volunteers to assist at their booth during the Lemon Festival at Girsh Park on September 26-27.Volunteers will help spread awareness about the Grace Fisher Foundation’s mission by greeting visitors\, distributing stickers and brochures\, assisting with a simple craft activity\, and sharing lemon candy with festival attendees. Shifts are three hours in duration.Because many Scouts may be unfamiliar with the organization\, the Grace Fisher Foundation plans to pair volunteers with a Foundation representative whenever possible and/or provide a script in advance that covers the most common questions visitors may ask.This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours while representing Scouting in the community and supporting a local nonprofit organization.If you have Scouts who may be interested\, please encourage them to sign up using the following link:https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0444ACAF22A5FDC52-64581014-lemonThank you for sharing this opportunity with your Scouts.
