DESCRIPTION:Hi Scouts and Adults!!  THANK YOU for signing up for this annual “family fun” fundraising event for the Sunrise Rotary Club\, which\, as you know\, is supporting our Troop.  You have volunteered to help with one or more shifts.  Set up: 8:00 am to 11:00 am; Tear down: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm\, as well as helping staff the Troop 26 booth Noon – 5:00 pm. Mr. Scholl and a couple of older scouts will be manning the Booth.  The greatest need is for Tear down from 5-7 pm\, and the next greatest need is for Set up in the morning.  Scoutbook did not allow signups for specific shifts\, but some of you indicated your preference on the paper sign-up sheets at the meetings.  Please dress in Class A uniform (class B will be accepted if your Class A is too dirty from camp).  ALSO: Face painting person at booth is requested!  Please feel free to bring your family for kids games\, music and food\, along with the Dolphin races down the water slide – with prizes for winners. DESCRIPTION:Wind Caves/ Gaviota Pass Overlook Hike\, Sat 31st May\nCar pool from Big5 at 8am\, planned return to Church ~1pm\nThis planned hike is only ~4 miles total. From the trail head we will walk a short way along a dirt road and then head up a single track toward the wind caves. After some exploring we will head around to the overlook. We shall have a snack there and turnaround and go back the way we came. This is another good training hike for Sierra Trek. As it is a short hike in mileage why not challenge yourself with a heavier backpack to simulate a overnight back packing trip! The trailhead is by Gaviota State Park Beach and Campground. Dont go into the Campground but stay on Gaviota Beach Rd\, parking right next to trailhead\nThings to bring:\nTen Essentials! Two liters of water! Snacks! Appropriate clothing for a hike! A good attitude!
