SUMMARY:Cachuma Bike and Camp (Scholl)
DESCRIPTION:Meet at Big 5 at 7AM and travel to Cachuma Lake campground.  Bike approximately 5 miles on fairly easy trails. Tires at least 2″X26″ needed and bike chain lubricated\, tires inflated and not leaking\, and brakes and gears working properly BEFORE showing up.  Have a good breakfast at home\, bring your own lunch for Saturday.  Cooking for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast will be by 3 person groups.  This a significant opportunity to pass rank and merit badge requirements for cooking and camping. Look over the requirements and study for them if you want signoffs. Be prepared to volunteer as grubmaster at the meeting on 9/7 if you want to pass cooking requirements.  On Sunday we will leave Cachuma by midmorning and go to the Trek Trails at Larsen Meadow at Rancho Alegre for additional riding.  Return to Big 5 Sunday NLT 4PM.

DESCRIPTION:Hello Troop Leaders\,The Grace Fisher Foundation is seeking responsible Scouts (age 16 and older) and adult volunteers to assist at their booth during the Lemon Festival at Girsh Park on September 26-27.Volunteers will help spread awareness about the Grace Fisher Foundation’s mission by greeting visitors\, distributing stickers and brochures\, assisting with a simple craft activity\, and sharing lemon candy with festival attendees.
