Fascinating geology… basic plan, is day 1 NIRA to Manzana narrows, Day 2 out to South Fork station on the rarely visited Sisquoc river. Day 3, do a layover day, and hike up to Sisquoc falls, or downriver exploring. Then the reverse; to the Narrows, and back to NIRA. 5 days total, 4 nights. Great prep for Philmont, and in a beautiful area with outrageous geology, views, streams, rivers, even native american rock art!
