Carpinteria Bike Camp

Arrive at the east end of the Bird Refuge at 9am. We will be biking 15 miles from the Bird Refuge to Carpinteria state Beach on Jan. 3, camp there one night, and bike back on Jan. 4. There will be opportunities to pass cycling, cooking and camping requirements. You must pick up tents and cooking gear at the troop meetings on Dec. 9 or 16. after then you will need to bring your own gear. We will form cooking patrols at the meeting on Dec. 16.Let Mr. Scholl know if you want to ride the extra 7 miles on Sunday to do the 22 miles requirement for the Cycling merit badge. We will need at least 2 boys for this or one other adult besides Mr. Scholl.
