Camporee 2026

Camporee!! Greetings Scouters!  We’re approaching our first all-council Camporee – Nov 13-15!  More details and leaders’ packet to follow, but we wanted to get some basic information out to you Camporee is a set of scouting related events, where patrols are scored and awarded placings based on those scores.  Show off your scouting skills, meet other scouts, have fun!It will be in Larsen Meadow at Rancho Alegre.  Troops can plan to arrive Friday evening, and we’ll have a prepared hot dog dinner available so you can concentrate on getting your camp set up.  Saturday morning we’ll have uniform inspections and then hike up to the main camp at Rancho Allegre – so you will need to pack a daypack and be prepared to carry all you need for the day (e.g., sunscreen, water, snacks, lunch).  After a day of events up at the main camp, head back to Larsen Meadow, then make your own dinner, or you can join in the optional Country Meat Market dinner ($23).  A campfire and awards ceremony will follow.  Sleep, wake the next morning, break camp, and head home after a fun Camporee weekend!
