TO: Philmont-Eligible Scouts
This invitation is going to Troop 26 Scouts who are eligible to participate in our June 2025 Philmont trek (generally, ages 14-21 on the day of the trek and approved based on backpacking experience) and to our ASMs.
Please come to this information meeting, so that you can learn why the Philmont trek is a life-changing experience unlike any other in Scouting. Our troop was the cover story for Philmont Magazine (Summer 2022). You’ve heard from other Scouts about their great adventures at Philmont. Come to this meeting so that you can make your decision to participate, because we have a September deadline for enrollment and only 9 seats for 26 eligible Scouts. Uniforms are not required.
