Hey all,
My name is Jaxon Patton and I am a life scout with troop 26. For those who don’t know me I have been with the troop since November 2019 and am now the SPL of the troop. My eagle scout project to remove and rebuild the Saint Mark’s Preschool’s play yard fence is going to be happening this weekend. The current fence is heavily termite and weather damaged, and needs to be replaced. This is a great opportunity to help out the church that has housed Troop 26 for over 50 years!
The work will begin this upcoming Saturday at 8 am and will continue Sunday, and we could really use all the help we can get. We will be removing the fence and then replacing it so if you do come and have any tools (shovels, posthole diggers, drills) and personal protective gear (safety glasses, gloves) please bring them. Any scout who attends will receive community service hours, but you don’t have to be a scout to help. We will be working 3/23, 3/24, and potentially 3/30 and 3/31 if we need an extra day or two. We will be starting at 8 am, taking a break for lunch which will be provided, and finishing around 3 pm. If anyone could contribute to this cause by helping me out, I would be very thankful. If you are available please either RSVP via scoutbook, or if you cannot you can email me.
So come on out to help me, the church, and Troop 26!
Sincerely,
Jaxon Patton
