Hi Troop 26,
Old Spanish Days Fiesta has asked Troop 26 to help with parking for this event at the Mission. This is a great opportunity to help at an important community event and in a way that makes our troop visible to the public.
Because this involves directing car traffic, this service opportunity is for Scouts 14 years and older.
* Arrive in front of the Mission at 4:00pm for orientation and instructions.
* We will help arriving cars park efficiently and neatly from 4:30 to 6:30p.
* You may stay for the program, and may be asked to help. You may choose to leave (with a parent) during the show, but we will need you back at 9:15pm to help direct traffic exiting from the parking lot. The number of service hours credit depends on your choice. We should be done by 10:30p.
* Bring water, a snack, a headlamp, and a sweater or jacket.
RSVP early, please, so that we can plan accordingly.
