The local veterans organizations have asked for our Scouts to conduct the flag retirement ceremony for approximately 25 cotton flags, accompanied by a bagpiper. This can be handled by just a few experienced Scouts, or it would also be impressive to have a large turnout from our troop — and it would be meaningful and educational for us all. Please RSVP by June 10.
