Hello new Scout Leaders!
This session will be mandatory training for all new leaders. If you have already been through some Greenbar training in the past, you should still come to this session because some of the material will be new and it will be a good refresher for the rest.
This training course is following the curriculum for BSA’s ILST (Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops) certificate. Youth leaders who complete the training will wear a “Trained” patch on their uniforms and will be eligible to participate in the next-level program, NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training) offered this summer at Rancho Alegre. These are good ways to build leadership skills that will help you help others throughout your life.
And, there will be doughnuts (provided by the SPL on arrival) and pizza (provided by the Scoutmaster at noon)!
