Parma Park Service Opportunity (Longo & Armstrong)

All,I’m excited about our service opportunity with the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department this Saturday at Palmer Park. We’ve been planning this for several months and will be helping with sign maintenance around the park.I’ve indicated that Zane, Hunter, Jonas, Spencer, Donovan, Arlo, Charlie, Landon, Weston, Mr. Armstrong, Hannotte, Longo plus others are planning to attend. Please let me know if I’ve listed anyone incorrectly or missed anyone.Please plan for the following:Meet: Saturday at 8:30 a.m.Location: El Cielito Trailhead – https://maps.app.goo.gl/fzuYLHxmWjiQTQZN9Bring: A signed waiver, water and sun protection (as attached)I’ll bring snacks, extra water and a shade structure. If your Scout needs a ride, please let me know. I’ll do my best to arrange a morning pickup with myself or another Assistant Scoutmaster, with drop-off in the early afternoon.This is a valuable opportunity to serve our community and strengthen our relationship with the city Park & Rec department, which could also help Scouts identify future Eagle service projects. Additional adult volunteers would be very welcome, the morning will start with a botanical tour of the common plants in the Park.Please reply with any questions, attendance corrections or transportation needs.
