Hello Troop 26,
This event is to cover the preparation work for the Radio Merit Badge. The official session is on Sept 28th, but this preparation course is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as it will allow the scouts to come to the course prepared with some of the background knowledge. There will also be some homework after the session, again all in preparation to complete the Merit Badge in one day. This training also helps prepare you if you would like to write the FCC license test, but it is NOT a course that will fully prepare you for the exam, if you choose to write it.
Please find attached a couple of items. Please have on hand for the meeting either the printed or digital copy of the radio merit badge book. You can find the electronic copy at the link below:

Please also be ready with a PRINTED copy of the workbook, so you can fill out notes during the prep session. Bring this workbook to the class on Sept 28th!
