Experience the Silver Peak Wilderness at Big Sur!
— We will leave as early as possible after school on Friday, November 17.
— We will arrive after dark at Plaskett Creek Campground.
— We will be in position to start early Saturday up Salmon Creek to Estrella camp.
— We will stay on the top of the mountains at Lion’s Den where there is a fabulous view of the Big Sur coast line.
— It is all downhill to Buckeye Camp, an important native American site.
— We will arrive back at our cars and be back home on November 21 in time for dinner.
— This will be a good time to work on Trail to First Class Cooking, Camping and outdoor requirements, and Cooking, Camping and Backpacking merit badges.
