Recipe of the month
Chicken Rice Almandine (Serves 4)
1 can (12 oz. or 12.5 oz.) chicken
3 cups water
3 cups Minute Rice
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. onion flakes
3 oz. slivered almonds
2 pkgs. cream of chicken soup mix (instant)
2/3 cup raisins (optional)
Place water in pot and bring to a boil. Add chicken, rice and other ingredients, mix well, and bring to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand for 10 minutes.
