Recipe of the Month
No-Cook Fresh Tomato Sauce with Pasta (6-Servings)
Cook: 1-lb. of favorite pasta as directed (Penne, Fettuccine)
Combine 8 chopped plum tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves, 2 Tablespoons chopped red onion, 1/2 cup Italian Salad Dressing and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese in a large bowl.
Add: drained pasta and toss to coat.

Suggestions for Backpacking
Use Angel Hair Pasta or Capellini Pasta instead of regular pasta. Angel Hair Pasta cooks faster and help save cooking time and also saving of fuel.
Remember, do not over-cook pasta. Al-dente.
